The endoscopic brow lift technique allows Naples plastic surgeon Dr. Manuel Peña to address creases and wrinkles throughout the forehead. For this procedure, Dr. Peña makes small incisions just above the hairline and, using advanced technology, addresses signs of aging with incredibly small surgical instruments.
Endoscopic brow lift surgery can help reduce recovery time and limit some risks associated with surgical operations, but it may not be enough to address more advanced instances of skin laxity or deeper creases and wrinkles.
More commonly today I use a simpler and more direct method of lifting the lateral 2/3 of the brow called the Lateral Subcutaneous Brow Lift. This I often do under local anesthesia and is a great adjunct to upper eyelid surgery for the lateral heavy hooding. I do not have access to the frowning muscles but BOTOX® does a great job keeping those under control.

Endoscopic Brow Lift Candidates
Candidates for an endoscopic facelift procedure should be nonsmokers who are in generally good health. Although it is less invasive than other brow lift options, endoscopic surgery will still require a recovery period during which activities are limited. To be a good candidate for this procedure, you must be physically prepared for a surgical operation and willing to limit activities while you recover. Dr. Peña can discuss these things with you in greater detail during your initial consultation.
